Rose Baker, 62, of Reelsville, Ind., died Monday, March 29, 2004, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, after an extended illness.

Born Dec. 12, 1941, the daughter of Ernie and Eunice Neild Baughman. She enjoyed animals, reading and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ronald Baughman.

She was survived by her husband, Robert E. Baker; a son, Robert E. Baker Jr. and wife Janet of Greencastle; a daughter, Melissa Rose Baker of Peru, Ind.; three brothers, Roy Baughman of Arizona, Robert Baughman of Oklahoma and Eddie Baughman and wife Julie of Colorado; two sisters, Nancy Willoughby and husband Clayton and Janet Jones and husband Philip, all of Indianapolis; and two grandchildren, Christian Levi Baker and Johanna Grace Baker of Greencastle.

At the family's request, cremation will take place. A memorial service will occur at McKinley Hill Church of Christ on Thursday evening at 5 p.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Miller Memorial Chapel assisted with arrangements.
