Jewel "Judy" Holley, 94 of Carbon, Ind., died Friday at her residence.
Born in Raymondville, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Laura Brown Howard. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Beaumont, Texas. After moving to Carbon, Ind., she attended Carbon United Methodist Church. She was a Charter Member of Beaumont Coin Club. She also enjoyed collecting stamps and baseball cards. She and her late husband, Owen owned and operated Holley Hardware in Beaumont, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a sister, Gertrude Cartie; a half-brother, George Youngblood; and half-sister, Selma Agee.
She is survived by one daughter: Mary Egloff and husband Ernie of Carbon and one son; Albert Howard Holley of Galveston, Texas; four grandchildren, Mark and Debbie Egloff of Beaver Creek, Ohio, Mike and Angela Egloff of Hartsburg, Mo., Jeffrey and Bobbie Egloff of Kokomo, Ind. and Howard Lance and Evelyn Holley of Albuquerque, N.M.; and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 7p.m. at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday at 7p.m. with Rev. Marshall Hendrix officiating. Services will be conducted at Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont on Tuesday afternoon with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
