She was born May 1, 1921, in Brazil, the daughter of Charles H. Evans and Edna Clara Ealey Evans. She graduated from Brazil High School. She graduated from school in Terre Haute, and opened her own beauty shop in her home on Chestnut Street in Brazil.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Piper German of Friendswood; two grandsons, Trey and Jonathan German; stepmother, Mae Evans and her daughter Jill Evans; and other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Evelyn Evans; and her husband, Paul German.
Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at French Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m., with Eastern Star service at 7 p.m.
