Mace McCullough, 89, of Farmersburg, Ind., died Sunday, April 11, 2004, at 3:52 p.m. at Harborside Health Care Center.
He was born in Clay County on Dec. 8, 1914, the son of J. Daniel McCullough and Mamie Cooprider McCullough. He graduated from Clay City High School.
He married Clara Schafer McCullough on Jan. 1, 1940. He was a retired farmer and electrician and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Arnold and Melvin McCullough.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, W. Ray McCullough and wife Susie of Oklahoma; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and husband Pastor Jim Gibson of Terre Haute and Debra and husband Pastor Harold Davis of Farmersburg; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and his wife of Farmersburg.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Farmersburg, with Pastor Joe Baker and Pastor Larry Peelman officiating. Burial will be at Farmersburg West Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again Friday from 9 a.m. until services.
