Jack Scott, 61, of Rockville, Ind., died Tuesday, April 27, 2004, in his residence.
Born Jan. 18, 1943, in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Clarence and Daisy Puckett Scott.
He was a retired inspector with Allison/Rolls Royce in Indianapolis for 42 years.
He was a 1961 graduate of Ben Davis High School and was an accomplished musician playing the guitar. He also enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Joan Miliam Scott, whom he married on March 8, 1974; three sons, Troy Scott of Brazil, Randy Thomas of Bloomingdale, Ind., and Tim Thomas of Normal, Ill.; a daughter, Teresa Ross, of San Antonio, Texas; five grandchildren, Rebecca Thomas, Tyler Thomas, Ethan Thomas, Madeline Thomas and Ezra Ross.
Private services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Friday in Gooch Funeral Home, 112 Howard St., Rockville, with the Rev. Rob Brown officiating.
Private visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services.
Burial will be in Rockville.
