Gourland W. Howard, 77, of Crawfordsville, Ind., died Wednesday, April 28, 2004, in his home.

Born March 13, 1927, at Clinton, Ind., he was the son of William and Glenna Johnson Howard.

He was a retired television salesman and technician and a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Survivors include two sons, Barry Howard of Brazil and Terry Howard of Lafayette, Ind.; two daughters, Dawn Pugh and Darla Pugh, both of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Wilma Kelshemer and Roberta Kesler, both of Clinton; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

No visitation is planned. Burkhart Funeral Home of Crawfordsville is in charge of arrangements.

Memberships included American Legion Post 302.
