Margaret Ellen Rollins Thomas, 60, of Clinton, died Thursday morning, May 20, 2004, after a lengthy illness.
She was born Aug. 16, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Eleanor Kelley Rollins and Harold Rollins. She was married to Sam Thomas in 1959.
She was a housewife and also worked at Wal-Mart, Cannon Inn and Meadows Manor North. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church, the Moose Lodge Auxiliary and the Half Century Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Larry Rollins.
She is survived by her three sons, Samuel Joseph Thomas and wife Donna Patrick, Timothy Ray Thomas and wife April and Jerry Wayne Thomas and wife Mona, all of Clinton; grandchildren, Justin, Christina, Sammy, Kaitlyn and Daniel Thomas; two stepgrandchildren, Chuck and Dennis Michaels; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Janet Upp, Elaine Vitaniemi and Kathy Van Huss; two brothers, Alan Rollins and Steve Rollins; one half-brother, Harold Rollins; and her mother, Eleanor Rollins of Clinton.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Frist Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Cremation is scheduled. Burial will be later in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
