Claudean Virginia Fisher, 88, of Brazil, formerly of Millboro, Va., died at 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at the home of her granddaughter, Billie J. Thompson and husband Drew G. Thompson. She had resided there since last September so they could care for her, with assistance from VistaCare, due to her failing health.

She was preceded in death by her only children, Andrew and James Miklos; and her husband, Clifford W. Fisher.

Other survivors include two stepgrandchildren, Brian James and Tracy Marie Thompson; two great-grandsons, Dusty and Jacob Heishman; and two great-great-granddaughters, Mercedes Nicole and Trista Marie Heishman, all of whom live in Indiana; and her dearests friends, Christy Kline, Greencastle, and Randall E. Thompson, Brazil.

Her remains will be taken to Millboro to be interred in a local cemetery where other members of her family are buried.
