Margaret C. Thompson, 82, of Indianapolis, died Thursday, June 17, 2004.

She was a homemaker. She previously worked for Wm. H. Block department store for several years. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star No. 404 in Northpark.

She was preceded in death by her brothers and sister, Marion, Lincoln, Kenneth and Lilly Hilgeman.

Survivors include one daughter, Rosemary Thompson of Plainfield; one brother, Wilford "Buddy" Hilgeman and wife Lenore of Huntingburg, Ind.; two sisters, Laverna Fischer of Cincinnati and Opal "Bubbles" Norton of Las Cruces, N.M.; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Conkle Funeral Home Lynhurst Chapel. Calling will be 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Calcutta Cemetery, Brazil.
