Kenneth "Kenny" Woolery, 67, of Carbon, died Friday, July 2, 2004, at 10:27 a.m. at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.
He was born March 12, 1937, in Clay County, the son of Joseph and Helen Simonson Woolery. He served in the U. S. Army following high school. He later worked for Hunts Paving Company in Indianapolis. He then came to Brazil and worked in the Clay plants. He last worked as a truck driver for Reynolds Trucking Company.
He enjoyed horse racing and playing pool.
He married Judith Gullifor on Oct. 1, 1959; she survives.
He is also survived by his two sons, Steven Joe Woolery and Timothy Aaron Woolery; one daughter, Laurie Sue Harrington; two grandsons, Kenneth Paul Harrington and David Harrington, all of Brazil; three sisters, Pauline Keffling, Sharon Sears and husband Joe and Shirley Winn and husband Larry; and many nieces and nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Paul Woolery Sr.
At his request, there will be no services and cremation will take place.
