Oran E. Clark, 69, of Oakwood, Ill., died at 11:50 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2004, at Provena USMC Logan Campus.
Born Dec. 17, 1934, in Spencer, Ind., he was the son of Luther and Evelyn Hicks Clark.
He married Judith Darlene Pruitt on June 17, 1956, in Danville; she survives.
Also surviving are a son, Steve, and daughter-in-law, Melanie, of Fairmount; two grandchildren, Josh and Sarah; and five sisters.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters and his parents.
He was drafted in 1957 and served in the Army at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.
He was a member of Insulators Local 18 at Indianapolis for more than 40 years. He retired from the trade in 1989. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Johnson-Lakeside Funeral Chapel in Oakwood with visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home with burial in Stearns Cemetery in Muncie-Fithian. Military Rites will be provided by the Korean War Veterans Association.
