Patricia Ruth Miller, 72, of Brazil, died Thursday, July 8, 2004, in Union Hospital.

Born Nov. 18, 1931, in Chamberlain, S.D., she was the daughter of Lloyd and Ida Gramm Smith.

She was a former resident of Marion, Iowa, and Lombard, Ill., and lived in Brazil for 17 years.

Survivors include her husband, J. R. Miller, of Brazil; two sons, Zachary Miller and wife, Jo Ellen, of St. Paul, Minn., and Matthew Miller and wife, Barrie, of Van Nuys, Calif.; a brother, Charles Smith, of Canon City, Colo.; three sisters, Joan Miller of Topeka, Kan., Darla Jenkins of Chesnee, S.C.; and Nellie Stultz of Canon City, Colo.; and three grandchildren, Ian, Nate and Wyatt Miller.

Services will be at the Penwell-Gabel Midtown Chapel in Topeka, Kan.
