Juanita M. Myers, 84, of Brazil, died at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2004, at Cloverleaf Healthcare in Knightsville.

Born June 9, 1920, in Vigo County, Ind., she was the daughter of Herbert D. and Zelphia Baker Lawrence.

Following graduation from Wiley High School in Terre Haute, she worked as a claims representative for Forest Shearer Insurance Co. until her retirement.

She was a member of the North Union United Methodist Church and a member of the Women's Group where she served as President.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Paul Jeffers, the Rev. Edgar Walls and Wesley Myers and two stepsons, Charles and Herbert Walls.

Survivors include a son, Wayne Jeffers, of Brazil; two stepsons, Byron Myers and Kenneth Walls; three stepdaughters, Dorothy Ferber, Shirley Williams and Laura Walker; a sister, Bonnie Dickerson, and her husband, Max, of Brazil; two brothers, Ralph Lawrence and his wife, Myrtle, of Jasonville and Larry Lawrence of Crawfordsville; and three grandsons, Wayne Jeffers Jr., Gary Jeffers and Jason Jeffers.

Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home and services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. John Holwerda officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
