Jack Head, 71, of Brazil, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.
Born Oct. 2, 1932, he was the son of Ollie and Mary Brown Head.
He was a cook in the Navy during the Korean War and later worked as a welder at J.I. Case.
He attended Center Point United Methodist Church and was a member of the Masonic Lodge 597 in Center Point.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; his parents; and a sister, Agnes Archer.
Survivors include his daughters, Becky and her husband, Tony Morris, of Brazil, Evelyn and husband, Leroy Sutton, of Ashboro and Jackie Head, of Brazil; a brother, Bill Head, of Lakeland, Fla.; sisters, Hazel Lynch of Reelsville, Lydia Holt of Terre Haute; two grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband, Kasey Terrell, of Center Point and Kaitlyn Morris of Brazil; three great-grandchildren, Nakisha, Ayissia and Dakota Cass of Center Point; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Center Point United Methodist Church. Visitation will be prior to services from 10 to 11 a.m.
Donations may be made to the Center Point United Methodist Church Building Fund. Envelopes will be available at the church.
