Stanley Paul Smith, 49, of Center Point, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2004, in Terre Haute Regional Hospital following a massive heart attack on Tuesday.
Born Sept. 18, 1954, in Shawnee, Okla., he was the son of Paul and Billie Smith who are deceased.
He retired from the Federal Aviation Agency as an air traffic controller at Hulman Regional Airport.
Memberships included the Friendly Grove Baptist Church in Lewis, Ind.
Survivors include his wife, Renay Rumple Smith, and two children, John Plan of Indianapolis and Martha Deweese and her husband, John Deweese Jr., of Jasonville; two sisters, Toni Davidson and Sharon Chadwell; four nieces and nephews, Sarah and Curt Davidson, John Chadwell and Robert Baccus in Oklahoma; and three grandchildren, Westin and Allison Deweese and Sarah Dunn.
Private services are pending. DeBaun Funeral Homes and Crematory is handling arrangements.
