Delores J. Maesch, 75, of Staunton, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004 at 9:15 p.m. at Royal Oaks Healthcare Facility.
Born Nov. 7, 1928, in Terre Haute, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Lona Mae June Beard King. She was married to John V. Maesch, who died Dec. 11, 1974.
She enjoyed playing cards, bowling and bingo. She was a loving Mom and Granny. She was a member of the Staunton First Christian Church.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Darla Maesch, Samuel and Margie Maesch and John and Janet Maesch, all of Staunton; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and David Walls of Arvada, Colo.; 16 grandchildren, Jenny Pollard and husband, Clark, Mindy Nobles and husband, Randy, Sara Jane Maesch, Sam Maesch Jr., and wife, Julie, Shawn Maesch and wife, Ginger, Jim Gilmour and wife, Sandra, Talisha Clark and husband, Joey, Brandi Miller and husband, Neil, Timothy Dunigan and wife, Amanda, Katie Kimmell and husband, Mark, Josh Gilmour, John Gilmour, Robert Maesch and wife, Sheilia, Ed Maesch and wife, Theresa, Shellie Messner and husband, Don, and Vernon Maesch and wife, Rachael; many great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry King, and wife, Betty, of Terre Haute; two sisters, Lucille Wagle of Terre Haute and Loretta Mitchell of Indianapolis; many nieces, nephews and a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, William Maesch; and two sisters, Ruth Ziner and Margaret Motife.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in French Funeral Home with Brother Doug Parkey officiating. Burial will follow in Clearview Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today and Saturday prior to services.
