David A. Cooper, 49, of Brazil, died at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, at The Waters of Greencastle in Greencastle.
Born March 19, 1955, in Brazil, he was the son of Arthur and Marilyn Davis Cooper who have preceded him in death.
He attended Brazil High School. Following high school, he was employed at Lear Corp. in Greencastle. He enjoyed being outdoors and fishing with friends.
Survivors include a son, Bradley Cooper; two daughters, Whitney Cooper of Rockville and Brooke Snider and her husband, David, of Clinton, Ind.; two sisters, Sherry Vogel and husband, Robert, and Pam Moran and husband, Phill, all of Brazil; and a grandchild, Caleb Snider.
At the request of the deceased, his body will be cremated and his ashes buried with family at Calcutta Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Tom Roeschlein officiating.
Donations may be made to the Clay County YMCA in Mr. Cooper's memory. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
