Clarence E. Kiser Jr., 87, of Greencastle, Ind., died Wednesday evening at The Waters of Greencastle.
Born Oct. 30, 1916, in Roachdale, Ind., he was the son of Clarence E. and Goldie Lou Huffman Kiser.
On Sept. 23, 1940, he married Mary Claira Hasecuster and she preceded him in death in February of 1980.
He worked 20 years as a machine repairman for Allison Detroit Diesel, retiring in 1959.
Survivors include three daughters, Claira Dank and husband, Larry, of Camby, Ruth Ann Cox and husband, Russell, of Poland and Glenda Kay Long and husband, Don, of Indianapolis; three sons, Dale and John Kiser, both of Indianapolis, and Charles Kiser of Brazil; a brother, Morris Kiser, of Indianapolis; three sisters, Maryetta Evans of Indianapolis, LaVenia Court of New York and Janice Brail of Wanamaker; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
His parents; wife; two brothers, Don and Fred Kiser, and a daughter, Margaret Louise Kiser, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Pastor Alan Small officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home 4-8 p.m. today.
Burial will be in the Roachdale Cemetery.
