James Trusler, 64, of Nevada and formerly of Brazil, died Sept. 17, 2004, in Reno, Nev.
Born Aug. 14, 1940, in Brazil, he was married 34 years to Wanda Trusler.
He was the co-Founder and vice-president of Sierra Mechanical. He was a member of the Old Timer's Club of Indianapolis 500, a former professional boat racer, and chief mechanic for Fiorie Racing. He enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include his children, Belinda Sharkey, Jet and wife Maria Trusler, Lance and wife Vicky Trusler, Sherrie Trusler, James Lynch, and the late Jamie Todd Trusler; brothers Jerry and Mike Trusler; grandchildrenJeremy and Lindsay Sharkey, Brittany, Brett, Jet, Jr., Bryce, Eric, and Amber Trusler, Christopher and Haylee Lynch; and a great-grandson, Jacob Snyder.
Visitation will be on Wednesday beginning at noon followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. at Green Valley Mortuary Chapel, Cameron Park, Nev. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery.
