Candace LeeAnn Schultz, 27, of Bloomingdale, formerly of Clinton, West Terre Haute and Brazil, died Friday morning, Sept. 17, 2004, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She had worked as a meter reader for Vectren and Cinergy and had also been employed by Columbia Records. She was a 1994 graduate of Northview High School. She was a loving mother and had been actively involved in softball with her daughter, Jazmine.
Candace was born Dec. 17, 1976, in Newburg to Michael Lee Schultz and Beth Bridgewater Schultz.
Survivors include two children, Jazmine Allen and Alexandria "Ally" Little, both at home; father of her children and special friend, Robert Little of West Terre Haute; her mother and stepfather, Beth and Stanley Hyde of West Terre Haute; her father of Nevins Township in Vigo County; two sisters, April Schultz-Dunbar and Amy Schultz, both of Terre Haute; two sisters, Sara Lantz and Lisa Lantz, both of Terre Haute; her grandmother, Leona Hyde of Seelyville; paternal grandparents, Robert and Anita Schultz; four aunts, Debbie Tourtillott and Teresa Phelps, both of Terre Haute, Harriet Bishop and husband Richard of Baltimore, and Lelia May and husband Mike of Jasonville; an uncle, Bob Schultz of Boonville; a great aunt, Thelma Dellacca; two nieces, Lashe Dunbar and Lexus Dunbar, both of Terre Haute and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Harry and Norma Bridgewater and great-grandparents, Marie and Andy Hall and Bo and Juanita Schultz.
Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday in Fitzpatrick-Pearce Funeral Home in West Terre Haute. Burial is in Bee Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour before services Tuesday.
