Robert L. Liddil, 72, passed away Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, in Ferron, Utah. He was born Nov. 8, 1932, in Brazil, Ind., to Oscar and Iva Smith Liddil. He married Kay Stover and later divorced. He married Rachelle Williams Jackson, July 20, 1985, in Sheridan, Ind., later solemnized in the Chicago LDS Temple.

He graduated with a Masters Degree from Indiana State University and taught music for a time, after which he worked as a machinist. He loved creating logic problems, some of which were published by Game Magazine. He also enjoyed writing mystery stories.

He was a member of the Brazil Concert Band and Indianapolis Philharmonic Orchestra. He also appeared in a movie with Diane Keaton named "Heaven".

Robert is survived by his wife, Rachelle, of Castle Dale, Utah; children, Kate Kenworthy, Natalie Truax, Ruth Liddil, Karen, Kelly Ann, Kimberly Robert, Karrie, Michael, Daniel and David; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother Edward, who died at birth.

Funeral services are at 1 p.m. today in the Castle Dale Stake Center with viewing one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Castle Dale City Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
