Sharron Wolff Penry, 65, of Terre Haute died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004, in her home.

Born Sept. 12, 1939, in San Jose, Calif., she was the daughter of Ernest W. and Juanita Hardman Wolff.

She moved back to Brazil, her mother's hometown, when she was in elementary school.

She was a graduate of Brazil High School and earned her B.S. in Music from Indiana State University in 1961.

After a brief teaching career, she became a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, John, whom she married Aug. 12, 1962; two daughters and sons-in-law, Janna and John Woodason of Springfield, Ohio, and Shawn and Jim Blackburn of Arizona; a son and daughter-in-law, John "Jack" and Rebekah Penry of Terre Haute; a sister, Shirley Wolff, of Davie, Fla.; and six grandchildren, Christy, Jocelyn and Kevin Woodason, Delaney Blackburn and Alec and Olivia Penry.

Her parents, a brother, Johnnie Wolff, and her twin sister, Sandy Wolff, are deceased.

Sharron was a member of Terre Haute First Baptist Church on East Poplar St. and served as a Sunday School teacher, choir member, bell choir member and a member of several boards.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Saturday in the church. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Saturday at the church. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.

Roselawn Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the church.
