Frances Eloise Coppage Shipp, 85, of Terre Haute, died at 11:45 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004. She had been in declining health and had recently became a patient in Meadows Manor North, Terre Haute.

Born Sept. 11, 1919, in Merom, Ind., she was the daughter of Bruce Herbert Coppage and Pearl Weir Coppage. She was married to Easton Harrington Shipp on Sept. 14, 1941.

Memberships included Terre Haute First Assembly of God.

Survivors include sons Stephen Mark and Martha Charlene Shipp of Brazil, Alan Dale and Katheryn Shipp of Osceola and David Grant Shipp of Indianapolis; a former daughter-in-law, Pam Alford, of Plainfield; granddaughters Kathi and Greg LaPointe of Scottsdale, Ariz., Lisa and Jim Wright of Center Point, Cheryl Vencel of Center Point, Laura and Scott Brackney of Brazil, Stephanie and Michael Langas of Fishers, Karen and Billy Swickard of Brazil, Katheryn Elizabeth Shipp of Osceola and Julie Shipp of Indianapolis; grandsons Eric Alan Shipp of Elkhart and Kevin Shipp of Portland, Ore.; great-grandchildren Ashlee (Thoriton) and Adam Perkins of Killeen, Texas, Alex Thoriton and Andre LaPointe of Scottsdale, Ariz., Charlynn Turner of Center Point, Anthony Vencel of Chesapeake, Va., Shawna, Sarah, Lindsay Vencel of Center Point, Brett Shipp of Avon, Seth and Sierra Jackson and Spencer Langas of Fishers and Benji Courtney of Brazil.

She was preceded in death by her husband on May 11, 1986, her father on Dec. 12, 1970, her mother, on March 11, 1975 and by a brother, Keith Coppage, of March 3, 1991.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in DeBaun Funeral Homes Springhill Chapel with the Rev. W. A. VanWinkle officiating.

Burial will be in Hutsonville Cemetery.

Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
