Darwin M. Booker, 88, of Brazil died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, in St. Vincent Clay Hospital at 6:35 p.m.
He was the son of Charles and Annice Boyer Booker and retired from the City of Vincennes Police Department as a 20-year officer in 1967.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie; a son-in-law, Michael Rogers Sr.; his parents; and brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Danny Booker and wife Janet, of Culver City, Calif., and Jim Booker and wife, Debbie, of Brazil; two daughters, Belinda Rogers and Theresa Young and husband, Don, all of Brazil; a sister, Neoma Casey of Albuquerque, N.M.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at French Funeral Home. Burial will be in Clearview Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until services on Friday.
