Richard, "Rick" Jones, 47, of Staunton died Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, in Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

Born in Brazil on Aug. 31, 1957, he was the son of John H. Jones and Thelma Cox Jones.

He served in the National Guard for six years and worked in construction in Clay County, most recently for Wilbur Jones Construction.

He enjoyed searching for antiques and yard sales.

Survivors include his mother, Thelma Cox Fulk, of Staunton; two brothers, Robert Jones and wife, Nancy, of Bay City, Texas, and Terry Jones of Streeter, Ill.; seven stepbrothers and sisters; five aunts; 11 uncles; and many cousins.

Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in French Funeral Home with Brother Lyle Monnett officiating. Burial will follow in Clearview Cemetery.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until services.
