DeAnn C. Green, 65, of Fort Branch, Ind., died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, in Gibson General Hospital at Princeton.
Born March 19, 1939, in Terre Haute, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Faye (Slinkard) Wenzel.
She was retired from the Princeton Daily Clarion and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch.
DeAnn was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister, Otty Wenzel, Donald Wenzel and Darnie Riddle.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Michael W. Green, of Fort Branch; a daughter, LeAnn S., and her husband, Chris Cooper, of Fort Branch; two sons, Michael J. and wife, Mary Jo, of Dayton, Ohio, and Martin A. and wife, Alene Green, of Mobile, Ala.; two brothers, Monte Wenzel of Terre Haute and John Wenzel of Springhill, Fla.; a sister, Ilene Dowden, of Linton, Ind. and four grandchildren, Christopher and Andrew Cooper and Emily and Michael Green.
Services will be conducted at Holy Cross Church in Fort Branch at 10 a.m. Monday. Father Tony Ernst will officiate and burial will be in Annunciation Catholic Cemetery in Brazil.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Stodghill Funeral Home on Highway 168 W in Fort Branch. A Rosary will be conducted on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Donations may be made to the Holy Cross Catholic Church. Envelopes will be available in the funeral home.
