Tove C. Kirchner, 43, of Brazil died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at 4:33 a.m. in the St. Vincent Clay Hospital emergency room, following a two-year fight with cancer.
Born Oct. 16, 1961, in Lebanon, Ind., she was the daughter of Marshall Moore and Patricia Clevenger Moore.
She graduated from Staunton High School in 1979 and had worked for Riddell National Bank, J.C. Penney in Brazil and had been a bookkeeper for Sylvan Learning Center in Terre Haute. She last worked for the Forest Park Golf Course as a bookkeeper.
She enjoyed crafts and making quilts. Her world centered on her church and her children's activities.
Survivors include her mother, Patricia English; her husband, David; three daughters, Mallory Kirchner, Maggie Kirchner and Madison Kirchner; four sisters, Christy Stevenson and husband, Mike, of Jasonville, Stephanie Staton and husband, Brandon, of Murphysboro, Tenn., Tina Weiss and husband, Wade, of Plainfield, and Debbie Newlin of Paris, Ill.; a brother, Rock J. Moore, of Jasonville; her mother-in-law, Loretta Kirchner; several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her father and her father-in-law, Jack Kirchner.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Miller Memorial Chapel with Brother Rick Thomas and Brandon Staton officiating. Burial will follow in Summit Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Sunday and Monday prior to services.
