Reva James Brewster, 69, of Greencastle died Friday, Dec. 10, 2004, in Putnam County Hospital. She was the daughter of William Henry and Rose Bemis James. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, bowling and shopping. She had been married to her husband, Curtis, since Dec. 5, 1953.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Guy Clayton Brewster, of Greencastle; a daughter, Patty Gardner, and husband, Dave, of Greencastle; two sisters, Hazel Burkley of Terre Haute and Eva Neese of Dixon, Mo.; two brothers, Billy James of Brazil and John James of Brazil; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Rocky Brester; three sisters, Elizabeth Bordon Thorton, Ann Lovett and Alice Bullock; and a brother, Ben James.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today at Forest Hill in Greencastle with the Rev. Steve Williams and the Rev. Frederick Hunt officiating. French Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
