Jonathan "Jon" Millett, 50, of Brazil and formerly of Wheaton, Ill., died at home unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004.
Born July 15, 1954, in Chicago, he was the son of Thomas and Joan Donohoe Millett.
He graduated from Wheaton High School and worked in home construction and remodeling. He last worked for the Torco auto dealership in West Chicago, Ill.
He moved to Brazil in 1998 after experiencing health problems.
He was a fan of MOPAR, car racing and drag racing.
Survivors include his parents, Thomas Millett of Wheaton, Ill. and Joan Donohoe Millett of Glen Ellyn, Ill.; his fiancee, Sally Woodrum; her parents, Dorlene and Frank "Red" Woodrum, all of Brazil; her brother, Paul Woodrum, and wife, Linda; their children, Michael, Nicole and Katie, all of Warrenville, Ill.; his two brothers, Scott Millett and Brian and wife, Karen, Millett; two sisters, Jane Millett and Mary and husband, Jeff Horn; three nephews; a niece; and other extended family.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at French Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Pippen officiating. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
