Tressia Mae Rogers, 92 of Cory, died at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, at her home.
Born Aug. 19, 1912, in Cory, she was the daughter of Lewis and Margaret Modesitt Unger.
She graduated from Cory High School. In 1931 she married Elmer K. Rogers. Tressia attended the Cory Zion Community Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elmer; three sisters, Myrtle Dietz, Mail Hofmann and Mary Unger; and two brothers, Clarence Unger and Harry Unger.
Survivors include by one daughter, Virginia Rogers of Plainfield; one son, Melvin Gene Rogers of Cory; four grandchildren, Chip Rogers and wife Jamie of Cory, Brian Rogers and wife Michelle of Bedford, Renee Cramer and husband Brent of Wheatland and Nathan Rogers of Fishers; six great grandchildren, Evan, Emily, Ethan, Trent, Jarred and Kendra Rogers; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4 -- 7:30 p.m. Friday at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday with Pastors Brian Rogers and Anthony Ferriell officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
