Gary A. Beil, 49, of Newburgh, Ind., died on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004, as a result of an automobile accident.
Gary was a graduate of Lake Central High School in St. John, Ind., and earned a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology in 1978. Gary spent his entire 26-year work career at ALCOA's Warrick operations in Newburgh. He was currently a Senior Staff Engineer with his P.E. license.
He was an active member of the Newburgh United Methodist Church.
Gary was preceded in death by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Harold and Delores Rodgers, of Knightsville.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Karen; daughters Ashley and Lindsey; his parents, James and Eileen Beil, of St. John;, two brothers, Richard and wife, Angie, of Frankfort, Ill.; David and wife, Tammy, of Carbon; a sister, Linda Jordan, of Dyer, Ind.; a brother-in-law, Andrew, and wife, Cindy Rodgers, of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Debra, and husband, Dean Cress, of Knightsville; 11 nieces and nephews Derek and wife, Angee Cress, Devin Cress and fiancee, Melissa, Anne, Laura, Carolyn, Cheryl Jordan, Molly, Kalyn and Travis; and one great-niece, Jordin Cress.
Funeral services were Monday at 10 a.m. at the Newburgh United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark L. Dicken officiating.
A Memorial Fund that will be applied to the building fund will be established at the Newburgh United Methodist Church, 4178 St. Rd. 261, Newburgh, IN 47630.
