Paul Eugene Galloway, 79, of Greencastle, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute.
Born Feb. 19, 1925, in Terre Haute, he was the son of Charles Edward and Winona (McIllwain) Galloway. He married Wilma Irene Hale on Oct. 16, 1948, and she survives.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, returning after duty as a disabled veteran.
He was a member of the Good Tidings Tabernacle Church in Brazil, the Spencer VFW Post No. 1405 and a lifetime member of the DAV.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Larry Galloway and wife, Rhonda, of Reelsville and Jerry Galloway and wife, Missi, of Spencer; two daughters, Paula Patton and husband, LeeRoy, of Cloverdale and Marla Sanders of Greencastle; a brother, Hugh Curt Galloway, of Terre Haute; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Gary; a brother, Charles; and an infant sister.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with the Rev. Buddy Kline officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery with military rites.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Tidings Tabernacle Church in Brazil.
