Mark G. Brummett, 86, of Lafayette, Ind., died Jan. 29, 2005, at his residence.

Born Jan. 7, 1919, in Fort Benton, Montana, he was the son of Samuel Walter Brummett and Grace Miller.

He attended high school at Brazil.

He was a milkman for Beatrice Foods, retiring in 1976.

On Dec. 15, 1940, he married Jean E. Suttie at Brazil. She is deceased.

He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church of Lafayette and Teamsters Local 144 of Terre Haute.

Survivors include a son, Sam Brummett, and wife, Sandra, of Lafayette; three granddaughters, Sherri Snyder, Tracy Brummett and Darcy Brummett; and a great-granddaughter, Melissa; and two great-grandsons, Nathaniel and Michael.

Friends may call at the Hahn Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayette, 5-7 p.m. today.

Funeral Mass will be at St. Boniface Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Tim Alkire officiating. A committal service will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Brazil.

Rosary will be at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
