Oran Muenster, 63, of Greenfield, Ind., died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005, at Greenfield.

Born June 28, 1941, at Indianapolis, he was the son of Anton-Otto Muenster and Charlotte Martha Fischer. His father is deceased, his mother lives at Greencastle.

He was a graduate of Ashboro High School, Ashboro, and received his Bachelor's Degree from Indiana State University.

He was a Research Microbiologist for Eli Lilly, retiring in 1994.

Memberships included the Masonic Lodge of Bowling Green.

Survivors include his wife, Judy (Maurer) Muenster of Greenfield; three daughters, Delaina D. Boyd of Gaston, Ind., Lisa L. Hoffman of Fortville, Ind., and Tiffany A. Muenster-Licht of Indianapolis; a sister, Karen Swalley of Greencastle; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main St., Greenfield, Ind., with Pastor David Woods officiating.

Visitation will be noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hancock County Food Bank, the American Cancer Society or Park Chapel Christian Church.
