?  ?ae Wence, 93, of Terre Haute, died at 3:42 a.m. on Feb. 17, 2005, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

She was born the daughter of Howard and Ethel Smock Burgess on Nov. 26, 1911, in Indianapolis. Her parents preceded her in death along with a son in 2004, Tom Wence, and a brother, Howard Burgess.

During her working years she was employed at Terre Haute First National Bank. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.

She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Kay Wence, of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Michelle and David Holt, Carol and Brad Edington, all of Brazil, Tom Brown and Tim Brown; great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Emilee Edington and Morgan and Josh Holt; a sister-in-law, Anne Jansen and a niece, Cathy Carnes.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19, at Centerton Cemetery in Martinsville, Ind.

French Funeral Home handled arrangements.
