Ramona R. Knight, 68, of rural Brazil died at 3:55 a.m. Monday, Feb. 21, 2005, in her Jackson Township home. She had been ill for nine months with a brain tumor.
Born in Bowling Green on March 25, 1936, her parents were John Clarke and Olive Milligan Clarke.
She was a 1954 graduate of Bowling Green High School.
She worked 27 years at Jackson Township Elementary School, starting as a cook and then becoming a teachers assistant until retirement.
She was a member of Union United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Zelma Hochstetler; and a brother, Gilbert Clarke.
Survivors include her husband, Albert L. Knight, whom she married July 24, 1954; four children, Tim Knight and wife, Elaine, of Paoli, Ind., Pam and husband, Les Ferris, of Brazil, Jim Knight and wife, Sue, of Reelsville, and Katrina and husband, Jeff Watson, of Bainbridge; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Margaret Fretz of Brazil, Joan Fogt of Findley, Ohio, June Clevenger and Rosie Brown, both of Bowling Green; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Lawson-Miller Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Alstott officiating and interment in Union cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
