Blanche Shoemaker, 93, of Bradenton, Fla., formerly of Brazil, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2005, at Bradenton.

Born July 23, 1911, in Brazil, she was a retired elementary and middle school music teacher and had been married to C. C. Shoemaker before his death.

Her memberships included the Bradenton Opera Guild, Bradenton Women's Club and Newcomers Club.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Bradenton.

Survivors include three sons, Charles Shoemaker of Allentown, Pa., Steven Shoemaker of Sarasota, Fla., and Robert Shoemaker of Treasure Island, Fla.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5:30-6 p.m. Thursday at Manasota Memorial Funeral Home in Bradenton followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m.
