Constance Virginia White Higgins Whallon Lang, 86, of Bowling Green died March 9, 2005 at 1 a.m. at her residence. She was born May 5, 1918 in Vigo County, the daughter of Alfred and Eliza Bundy White.

During her working years she was employed at Home Packing and Midland Glass in Terre Haute. She enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, reading, farming, punch rugs, crafts, but most of all her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Joyce Nees of Clay City, Penny and Sam Clevenger of Bowling Green, Wayne Whallon, Jr. of Terre Haute, Mary and Steve Wright of Clinton and Candy Foster of Bowling Green; 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; one sister Mercedes Lark of St. Mary-of-the-Woods and one brother Paul White, of Terre Haute.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Percy Higgins, Wayne Whallon and "Ed" Roy Lang; a daughter, Susan Whallon Hasler and a grandson David Wayne Whallon; sisters, Ruth, Mildred, Mabel, Beverly, Dovey; four brothers, Robert, Alfred Junior, Dean and Richard.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Bahney officiating. Burial will be at Beech Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Light a candle in her memory at www.schoppenhorstfuneralhome.com
