Bethany Shayne Randall, 15, of Plainfield, formerly of Brazil died March 10, 2005 at Indiana University Medical Center from an anoxic brain injury due to cardiac arrhythmia.

She was born August 26, 1989 in Terre Haute, the daughter of Andrew and Myca Baysinger Randall. As a little girl she attended Forest Park Elementary School and North Clay Middle School. Her family had relocated to Plainfield last year and Bethany was currently attending Plainfield High School as a freshman.

She partipcated in Special Olympics in the Equestrian events. She enjoyed taking horse-riding lessons at Little Creek Equestrian Center. Bethany loved swimming, horses, being out of doors and being with people. She volunteered at the Clay Health Center and at Hales Little Angels Daycare.

She was currently attending Grace Fellowship Church in Avon.

She is survived by her parents, Andy and Myca Randall of Plainfield; her brother Griffin Randall; grandparents, Jack and Ruth Randall and Wes and Lois Baysinger all of Brazil; aunts and uncles; Denise and Steven Weltzin of Harmony; Mike and Donna Baysinger and Gary and Gretchen Baysinger all of Brazil; many cousins and extended family.

Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave. Brazil, with Revs. Warren Burns and Bob Kumpf officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again Monday prior to services.
