Waneta Hall Bedwell, 91, of Brazil died at 6:20 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at Trinity West Hospital in Rock Island, Ill.

Born in Brazil on March 12, 1914, she was the daughter of Benjamin and Xenia Wolverton Hall.

She attended Brazil High School. In 1949 she married Estelle Bedwell.

She was a nurse's aide at Cloverleaf Healthcare in Knightsville for 25 years. She was also a member of the Way of the Cross Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a stepson, Robert Bedwell; and three sisters, Pauline Pierce, Mary Wilson and Edna Gregg.

Survivors include her daughter, Joann, and husband, John Love, of Rock Island, Ill.; a sister, Martha Crouch, of Florida; three grandchildren, Tom Love, Mary Vignatelli and Robert Love; five great-grandchildren; and two nieces, Nita Mayle and Norma Thompson.

Services will be at French Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Burial will follow at Bee Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home one hour prior to services on Friday.

Donations may be made to the Senior Citizens Center. Envelopes will be available in the funeral home.
