Beulah Naomi Sheese Dayhuff, 82, of Brazil, died at 4 p.m. on March 31, 2005, at her residence.

She was the daughter of Herschel and Ina Cooksey Sheese. She graduated from Gosport High School, and on Nov. 19, 1941, she married Clarence L. Dayhuff. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking, was a member of the Ladies Aid and was active with the Fairview Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Floyd Sheese, Lewis Sheese and Renos Sheese.

Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn Dayhuff of Brazil and Sarah L. Freeman of Florida; three brothers, Marvin Sheese of Spencer, Lester Sheese of Gosport and Earl Sheese of Gosport; one sister, Rosella Taylor of Bloomington; and three grandchildren, Jonathan, Mark and Erica of Florida.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday at Fiscus Cemetery in Coal City with Pastor Warren Whittington officiating. French Funeral Home assisted with arrangements. Visit www.frenchfuneralhome.com for more information or to light a candle.
