He was born May 4, 1981, to Tony Tiefel and Brenda Youngblood Tiefel.
He was a 2000 graduate of Clay City High School, attended Good Shepherd Baptist Church and was employed by Terre Haute Grain. He was a great outdoorsman, especially enjoying hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his parents of Clay City; brother Dan Tiefel and wife Dena of Kansas City, Mo.; paternal grandparents Jack and Patty Tiefel of Clay City; maternal grandparents Doyne and JoAnne Youngblood of Center Point; several aunts and uncles, a large extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, in the French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave., Brazil. There will be a private family service at a later date.
