Viola Maxine Holliday, 82 of Brazil, and formerly of Rockville, died at 8:45 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2005, at the Clay Health Center in Brazil.

She was a caregiver for many years.

She was born Feb. 15, 1923, in Bloomingdale, Ind., to the late George Oliver Wittenmyer and to Lina Brower Wittenmyer. Survivors include two sons, Harold E. Jordan and Howard C. Jordan both of St. Petersburg, Fla.; one brother, Bob Wittenmyer and his wife Opal Wittenmyer of Rockville; two sisters in law, Marie Wittenmyer of Bloomingdale and Jeri Connelly and her husband Tim Connelly of Danville, Ill.; six grandchildren, Patty McLain (Jon) of Brazil, Chris Rogers (Shane) of Terre Haute, Tony Jordan (Chris) of Fairbanks, Tracy Sullentrap of Texas, Belinda Falke of Texas and Carrie Jordan of Danville, Ill.; and eight great-grandchildren, Tracey Cuthbertson, Nicholas McLain, Shelby Rogers, Haley Jordan, Kelsey Jordan, Kaitlyn Jordan, Kallie Farren and Josh Farren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers.

She was a graduate of Bloomingdale High School. Cremation was chosen.

Services will be held at a later date.
