Linn R. Cox, 55, of Brazil passed away in his home Thursday, April 14, 2005, at 9 a.m.

Born Aug. 8, 1949, in Brazil he was the son of Ervin and Mary Jo Bussing Cox.

He graduated from Brazil High School Class of 1967.

He has worked as a maintenance mechanic for Bemis for 32 years. He was an active part of the ministry at Caring Center Church of God in Terre Haute.

He enjoyed following racing, and being a grandpa.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Childress Cox, whom he married Feb. 16, 1973; his mother, Mary Jo Cox; two daughters, Luanna Pettus and husband, Jonathan, of Brazil and Erin Cox and her friend, Jon Grube, of Bainbridge; grandchildren, K.G. Sanders, Joseph Sanders, Jessica Pettus and Jonathan Paul Pettus; three sisters, Joyce Cox of Terre Haute, Anita Jones and Lisa Cox of Brazil; and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his father and one sister Amy Cox.

Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jay Kester officiating. Burial will follow at Bee Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, 4-8pm and again Monday prior to services. Light a candle in his memory at www.frenchfuneralhome.com.
