Kathryn F. Knox, age 91, of Janesville, died Saturday, April 30, 2005, at Mercy Hospital. She was born in Brazil, IN, on July 18, 1913, the daughter of Bradley and Emma (Smith) Lucas. She married Lloyd E. Knox on April 20, 1935, and he preceded her in death in April of 1997. She was a member of Cargill United Methodist Church, and worked at Sears for many years.

Kathryn is survived by a daughter, Linda (Robert) Skor of Morgan Hill, CA; 2 granddaughters, Heather (Jerome) Skor of San Diego, CA, and Jennifer Skor of Morgan Hill, CA; daughter-in-law, Helen Knox; 2 granddaughters, Kim (Ken) Pavlik, and Kelly Lyons; 6 great grandchildren: Nicholas, Brittany, Taylor Pavlik, and Matt, Kayla, Winn Lyons. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a son, William Knox; and 11 siblings.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2005 at the Schneider Apfel Schneider & Schneider Funeral Home with Major Tricia Taube officiating. Entombment will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Friends may call on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Cedar Crest Benevolent Fund.
