Rev. Fred H. Bolinger, 91 of Brazil, passed away May 6, 2005 at Holly Hills Healthcare Facility. He was a resident there for only one day. He was born June 18, 1913 in Clay County, the son of Arthur C. Bolinger and Lavina Pride Bolinger. He graduated from high school, and later in life graduated from Indiana Central College. He was an ordained Evangelical United Brethren Minister for over 60 years. He ministered in the Center Point area and served many other E.U.B. Churches in the area.

In his lifetime, he also was a mechanic. He had three garages in Clay County all called "B-Line Garage". Later in life, he began working on lawn mowing equipment from his home. He enjoyed helping people and had performed over a thousand weddings and funerals.

He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Fred and Linda Bolinger of Greencastle; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters in law, Faye Bolinger and Mildred Bolinger; many nieces, nephews and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife R. Bernice Stevens Bolinger; 3 brothers; one son John Bolinger; one daughter Dorothy Trester; and 2 granddaughters.

Services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m at French Funeral Home with Brother Doug Parkey officiating. Burial will follow at Center Point Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10-2. Light a candle in his memory at www.frenchfuneralhome.com
