He was born August 1, 1930, in Brazil, Indiana, to Charles and Bernice Heath Weaver who preceded him in death.
Mr. Weaver worked as a printer for the Terre Haute Tribune-Star and as a guard for Pinkerton at DADC. He was a 1948 graduate of Gertsmeyer Tech, served in the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army and later served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, was a member of the Terre Haute VFW Post #972 and an avid fisherman.
Bob is survived by his wife, Shirley Neville Weaver whom he married on June 30, 1972; Sons, Robert D. Weaver and wife Tina of Lawrenceville, Illinois; Troy Weaver and wife Kathy of Terre Haute and John Whitted and wife, Paula of Staunton; a daughter, Patricia Cash and husband Jerry of Panama City, Florida; a step-son, Mitch Quick and wife Barbara of Brazil; step-daughters, Dawn Hertzberger of Evansville; Cindy Quick of Brazil and Teresa Modesitt and husband Andy of New Richmond, IN; 13 Grandchildren, Brandon and Coty Weaver, Austin Weaver, Stephanie and Christopher Cash, Annie and Julia Whitted, Andrea Pirau, Mitch and Scotty Quick, Bethany Quick, Taylor Modesitt and Addison Hertzberger; a sister, Patricia Handy and husband Ronnie of Terre Haute and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2005 at the Bee Ridge Cemetery with visitation at the cemetery from Noon until services. French Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
