Glenn W. Modesitt, 73, of Plainfield died May 29, 2005, in Hendricks Regional Health, Danville, Ind.
Born Aug. 9, 1933, in Brazil, he was the son of Orville J. Modesitt and F. Mazo Sharf Modesitt.
He married Marilyn F. Price on March 21, 1953, in Brazil.
He was an executive for Public Service Indiana for 30 years, retiring in 1990.
Memberships included Plainfield Masonic Lodge No. 653, Order of Eastern Star No. 414, Past Grand Worshipful Master 1968, Plainfield Elks No. 2186, lifetime member of Bass Masters Association and Hope Presbyterian Church of Plainfield.
He was a 1951 Brazil High School graduate and went on to serve in the U.S. Army during the Korean police action.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Lynn R. and Dennis Roach, Lisa A. and Robert Schuttler; his mother who lives in Brazil; brothers, Robert J., Richard, John and Joe Modesitt; one sister, Irene Mix; grandchildren, Jessica, evan, Jordan, Sarah, Ethan, Adam and Michah Anne; and one great-grandchild, Samantha.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with the Rev. Dan Sutherlin officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
