Donald Veach Anderson, 90, of Brazil, died at 9:24 a.m., Monday, June 6, 2005 at the Clay Health Center in Brazil. He lived previously in Speedway, Indiana for 40 years. He returned to his hometown of Brazil, Indiana in 1988. He married Arline Wedel on June 7, 1936 and she survives.
Donald retired from Allison General Motors as an accountant after 32 years. He was a member of First Christian Church of Brazil.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandchild, Bryan Anderson and his sister, Rosemary Eckard.
He is survived by his wife, Arline (Wedel) Anderson; one son, Terry Anderson and his wife Alberta of Indianapolis, IN; two daughters, Donna Brackney and her husband William, of Speedway, IN and Judith Benell and her husband Charles of Bridgeton, IN; grandchildren, Kirk Anderson and his wife Jolie, Kathy Foreman and her husband Mark, Susan Weaver and her husband Brad, Mark Benell and his wife Jane, Cheryl Mager and her husband James; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Graham, and Daniel Anderson; Breanna and Brooke Foreman; Kacie and Shelby Benell; Caitlyn, MaKenzie and Marle Mager; two nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave., Brazil, IN, Friday, June 10, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Greg Comp officiating. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery.
