Tara Lynn Meadlo, 18, of Brazil, formerly of West Terre Haute died at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2005, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Switz City, IN.

She had attended three and a half years of high school at Northview and was a 2005 graduate of West Vigo High School. She was born May 27, 1987, at Terre Haute to Tony Meadlo and Yvonne Herring Meadlo.

Survivors include her parents, Tony Meadlo of West Terre Haute; and Yvonne and Carl Tresner of Brazil; two sisters, Tiffany Meadlo and Sara Joliff; two brothers, Corey Tresner and Chris Tresner; paternal grandfather, Larry Meadlo; maternal grandparents, Bill and Jan Herring, and Ruth Tresner; paternal great grandparents, Hugh and Leah VanHoutin; a niece, Miranda Tresner; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Sharon Meadlo.

She had been involved with the Northview Band and Color Guard. She attended the Christ Community Church where she was involved with the kids' church and she also attended the Kings Harvest Four Square Gospel Church.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Fitzpatrick-Pearce Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Leek and Pastor Tim Russell officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 7:00 a.m. until service time Wednesday. The family suggests that if friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to Compassion International, an organization devoted to releasing children from poverty in Jesus' name. There will be envelopes available in the funeral home.
